The juvenile Partheraps "coatzacoalcos" are getting bigger with the largest male being four inches.  This is going to be a spectacular looking fish.  Really looking forward to photographing them.  THe color even as a juvenile are amazing.

This red band across the top of the nose appears to be more prevalent in the males.  At this size it is relatively easy to determine sex.

The next two shots are the same...the second cropped tighter to the head to show the beautiful colors.

Using a 105mm Macro lens, I shot this photo of the fish head on.  In fact if you look at the series of photos in this post you will see the same..or close technique.  I was going to title the thread "Heads & Tails".  Interesting to not that even shot at f32 the tail of the fish is still slightly out of focus. At this range, the depth of field is still shallow.  I love this shot.

A. hogaboomorum...this was lit a little differently.  Normally I have the flash units on top and bottom of the tank.. The gravel in this tank prohibits the lower lighting...so I held the camera in my right and the flash back and below my waist pointing up.  Theraps wesseli in the background.

No explanation on this photo.  The fish just looks silly.

I have a few dozen of these fish in sizes from 5 - 2".  I plan on taking them to the convention in July along with a bunch of other fish to sell.

Nothing special...just a nice clean shot of the fish. This particular fish is 4"

This reminds me of the "Karate Kid" in his crane stance.   :D

Another fish (4") that I have a bunch of grow outs.  This is one of a few dozen F1 grow outs.  Beautiful fish....and of course in the predatory "heads up where's the food" pose.

And here's the business end of the predator.

Kısaca;
Partheraps "coatzacoalcos" yavruları büyümeye başlamış. En büyüğü, erkek 4 inch, 10-12 cm olmuş. Yavruyken bile inanılmaz renklere sahip balıklar. Burnunu üzerindeki kırmızı çizgi erkeklere mahsus. Cinsiyet ayrımı bu boyda anlaşılıyor. Aquamojo bu yavruların bazılarını ilerde satacakmış. İlgilenenlere duyurulur)
